Dr. Xavier Perpinyà showcases Safepower research
We are pleased to share thatDr. Xavier Perpinyà from the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM-CSIC) presented the Safepower project at the 2nd Workshop on Smart and Integrated Packages for Power Electronics of the Future held in Tarbes on 10 & 11 July 2025.
His talk focused on the main advances in IIR-LD post-processing approaches to decouple thermal and carrier-gradient effects and was directly related to research within WP3, “Condition and Health Monitoring Strategies in MVDC Converters,” of the project.
The workshop was organised within the framework of the Efficience Chair – “IntEgration de matériaux, de Fonctions, et méthode de dIagnostic pour les modules des ConvertIsseurs d’Electronique de puissance”, and was introduced by Prof. Paul-Etienne Vidal from UTTOP.
