SAFEPOWER 2nd GA

The Consortium meeting at the University of Warwick (UK)

The second general meeting of the consortium, held on 1st December 2025 at the University of Warwick, focused on reviewing and discussing the project’s progress. Throughout the day, the team commented on technical challenges and progress across multiple work packages, including condition monitoring techniques (CH&M), digital twin implementation, device fabrication for silicon carbide power MOSFETs, and updates on gallium oxide devices.

The next six-month plans were drafted considering the presented updates. We were joined by members of the SAFEPOWER External Advisory Board, all of whom have extensive experience in the semiconductor domain. They offered their guidance and insights to support the project’s implementation.

It was an inspiring session full of collaboration and forward-thinking ideas.
Key highlights:

  • Reviewed progress and challenges across all Work Packages
  • Strengthened technical coordination for upcoming milestones
  • Planned next steps for dissemination and stakeholder engagement

Since the meeting was hosted by the University of Warwick, we had a chance to visit the Warwick Manufacturing Group and the laboratories of the School of Engineering, University of Warwick – an inspiring experience!

Thank you very much to all partners for their dedication and contributions.
