Privacy Policy

SAFEPOWER is 48-month-long EU project funded by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) under the Horizon Europe Programme (2021-2027). 

SAFEPOWER consortium’s partners process certain types of personal data for the purposes of the project. Each partner is responsible for the personal data they collect and process during their activities under the framework of the project:

SAFEPOWER carefully treats all data collected as confidential and strictly use it in compliance with the EU legal regulations. All data collected and managed under the activities of SAFEPOWER, namely accounts, newsletter subscribers, event registrations, and surveys of any kind, is in strict compliance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, General Data Protection Regulation.

  • Who is concerned by this notice?

This notice is addressed to the following public:
– respondents to surveys
– registered participants in events
– newsletter subscribers of any outsourced database application

  • For what purposes does IMB-CNM-CSIC Store your Data?

The scope of the data collected is limited to the minimum required for each purpose, minimizing the use of personal information whenever possible. However, no personal information is collected without the knowledge and consent of the target audience. No data will be shared with third parties outside SAFEPOWER – IMB-CNM-CSIC, other than the external providers or used for unintended purposes without the express consent and prior notification to the interested individuals. When personal data is collected, the purpose will be clearly expressed.

  • What about cookies and tracking technologies?

The SAFEPOWER web platform collects and stores information using cookies and similar tracking technologies to track web behaviours. We use this information to provide analytics of only statistical nature.

  • What type of data is collected and how?

The project partners store data of different types and in several ways:

– E-mail, postal and telephone contacts
– Newsletter’s subscription
– Event registration
– Surveys
– Contact forms
– Data collected through the SAFEPOWER website and other outsourced applications (Mailchimp)
